Who The Heck Is The Author, Anyway?

Brad has practiced the arts of systems development – with a lot of software experience – for over thirty years, first as managing partner of Software Associates, of San Ramon, California. His first fifteen years in the Medical Device world were as Software Manager, Program Manager, Systems Engineer, and Design Control Manager for Abbott Hematology. After Abbott, Brad moved to TechnoSapiens, Inc, a consulting firm in the East Bay Area of California.

At Software Associates, Brad consulted in software and systems engineering, project management, SDLC, and software methodologies training to Fortune 500 companies in over twenty industries. Major clients during Brad’s sixteen year stint there included Varian, HP, Sprint, Chevron, Honeywell, ITT, and tens of others.

At Abbott, he managed teams of fifty and more professionals to realize in vitro diagnostic and lab automation technology. He has also re-engineered business and Quality System processes, including configuration management, requirements management, defect management, software development process, change management and Design Control.

At TechnoSapiens, Inc, Brad is consulting again, to the Medical Device and Diagnostics industries. He’s offering services in systems engineering, Quality Systems, organizational capability assessment, software engineering, and program management.

Brad studied computer science, information systems, and accounting at California State University, Hayward, and holds a BA in Management from St. Mary’s College of California.
